Bought a 99 4 runner used in 2002. It came equipped with 31 x10.5 r15 tires, recently one of those blew and the spare is a 225/75.

I do not do any off roading, it is a 4x2 and all my driving here in CA is freeway (basically) It is about time to replace all tires and i wanted some advice as to the appropriate size and style for my driving area.

I really like the bigger tires as they have held up strong over the 6+ years i have had the truck, but seems everywhere I look (online) the stock is 225/75 and i am not sure i want to go to those.

I want to do what is best for the truck and my driving to extend longevity. Let me know any opinions on what you would do if in the same situation.
