Recently purchased a 1988 4Runner 4x4 with the 22RE engine, 5spd. The truck is being shipped to me from VA.

Has only 96,000 miles on it. What are some common problems on these vehicles that I should be on the look out for?

whats a good site for aftermarket upgrade parts? suspension, handling, brakes, roof racks, interior bits, etc.

what kind of MPG can i expect out of it?

p.s. prior to this 4Runner i have been a VW dork and if anyone has questions regarding 1992 and older Vdubs i may be able to help.
