New to the site, new to 4Runners too
Just joined today and thought this would be a good place for info on my truck. About 6 months ago I was given a 1987 4Runner with approximately165K miles. This truck is unbelievable - it performslike a newer vehicle, is ok with the gas mileage and has been a true blessing to me since it replaced a full size Bronco I rolled over last year. Bronco gas and parts were draining my checking account. My 4Runner's MPG is much better and the dependability isawesome. Took the top off last week and am LOVING every minute of drive timein the Memphis heat.
Haven't been off-road yet - no time with work and family but I will soon. Just have to be careful as this is also my daily driver and I want to make my time with thisexceptional truck last as long as I can.
I look forward to getting to knowmore about my truck and getting to knowsome of y'all on the forum.

RE: New to the site, new to 4Runners too
Heey everyone! Yesterday I traded my 99 Suzuki Grand Vitara for a 94 4runner and I love it! My only concern is that it whistles when I drive it and I'm not sure if its just from the vents or from my engine. Honestly, I know very little about cars and trucks but I want to learn. Any tips are appriciated :]
