Hey guys, I've lurked this site for a few weeks now and this has helped me decide on buying a 4runner. From mods and aftermarket parts to common issues and simple fixes, this forum is pretty awesome!
I'm pretty much looking at any 2003-05 V6 4x4 Limited with <150kmiles. I'm a recreational and competitive fisherman that will be towing a 16' whaler and 18' Ranger boat in the next few years. I like the bigger 4.0L engine and what everyone has said about them.
In the past 2 weeks, I've only found one 4runner that matches what I want. Priced on Craigslist at $10,500. It needs newer tires and has 150K miles, but other than that the car is very clean and has an owner who hasn't put the 4x4 to use ever. Any ideas or tips on how to haggle the price down? I'd ideally like to pay 8,500 or 9,000 for it.
