NEW 4RUNNER

NEW 4RUNNER
I HAVE A NEW 2006 4RUNNER, STOCK WITH 17" WHEEL OPTION, ROOF RACK, AND RUNNING BOARDS.
I HAVE TAKEN IT OFF ROAD ONCE, FOR ABOUT 10 MILES OF EASY OFF ROAD OVER SOME LARGE ROCKS,
MUD, AND WASHBOARD ROADS WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS (GUANELLA PASS AND GENEVA CREEK AREA OF
COLORADO).
ONLY CONCERN I HAVE IS THE EXTRA WIDE FENDER SKIRTS AND DOOR SKIRTS ON THE BODY----- THEY PACK
WITH MUD AND ARE A PAIN TO WASH OUT. IS THERE ANY WAY TO SEAL THESE? THEY LOOK GOOD, BUT
OBVIOUSLY ARE AN AFTERTHOUGHT AND ARE WORTHLESS FOR OFF ROAD. MAYBE A WAY TO STRIP THEM
FROM THE BODY? ANY THOUGHTS?
OTHER THAN THIS ISSUE, I HAVE 2030 MILES ON IT AND CONSIDER IT AN EXCELLENT RIDE IN THE CITY AND
ON THE HIGHWAY.
