Default Damage towing my 4Runner

Hi
I recently towed my 91 4Runner by dolly on a three hour drive back home. I found out the hard way that I damaged the transmission by not disconnecting the drive shaft. The car does not move in drive or reverse. Does anyone now what I damaged, how bad, and if there's an easy fix to solve the problem without a rebuild or a new tranny? If I sound desperate, it's because I am.
Thanks

You stripped gears and wore out the clutch. You could ahve it rebuilt and the clutch replaced or you can swap the transmission for a new one. Those are about your only choices.
