You can always change or add to just about anything.

I would check out www.crutchfield.com they make it easy to find.

From what I have seen, If you have the in dash 6 disc, cd changer, that has to go in order to install the navigation/satellite radio system. You can still have a 6 disk changer, but that will have to be relocated. The system I have is the JBL audio package with the tweeter speakers that replaced the cargo mirrors in the back. Navigation with Sirrius radio, and ipod interface so you use the main screen for everything. It manages your playlists in ipod, satellite radio, gps/navigation, and CD/DVD/CASSETTE/VIDEO player if installed. Its touch screen activated.

I got mine from the dealer. My buddy got his 08 brand new with nav system and his works a little different then mine. I never figured this out. His you can make changes to your route while driving, mine is the same system but I am not allowed to change anything while moving. I have to be braked, or parked, not in motion. I've tried to look around the parameters, I can't find it.

Default Navigation Shut Off

I've got a new 2010 4Runner with the navigation. If you get the vehicle moving it prevents you from adjusting the navigation or using the in dash handsfree phone. Which is kind of odd as it still allows you to navigate your ipod via USB cable. Even stranger, this shut off feature still engages when there is a passenger in the vehicle who could be operating the phone or nav. Anyone know of an over-ride? Thanks.

Default NAV & Bluetooth Phone

Realize now that eliminating the phone controls on the NAV screen is intentional - this seems like a poor concept. How is it any different than using the NAV itself or allowing the passenger access to the controls? Is there an over-ride that anyone knows of? -matthew malgari
