First of all, I want to say that I love my 4Runner. I was previously someone who traded in their vehicles every 2 years, if not sooner, but I have had my 4Runner since December 2004.
Second, I just got my vehicle back from the mechanics yesterday. New brakes, new sensor (can't remember what it was called, my husband seemed to know what it was so I didn't much pay attention to that part). After the mechanic had fixed those 2 issues, it didn't reset all the lights on the dashboard that had been on, so he continued to investigate. He ended up finding a length of wiring that had been gnawed on and some tiny little paw prints. He replaced the wiring and we were good to go. I had to reset the time and my radio presets and that was all I had found until just a little while ago. Normally, just a little push of the "auto" window button would make it automatically go down all the way. (same for going up, of course) Well, it doesn't do that anymore. I have to hold it down or hold it up like the rest of the windows. I know, I know, poor lazy me complaining about having to hold onto the button for 5 seconds. I don't mean to be like that, but its a feature I use to enjoy and now I don't have it.
Does anyone know if there is an easy fix to this? Does something just need to be reset?
Any help is appreciated!
