Jump Fp over to +B

Jump Fp over to +B
The time has come and the need for a support group has outweighed any shred of pride my '93 4Runner hasn't stripped from me already....so, here I am! I got a problem and i'm hoping somebody on this forum has already "been there done that".
Last winter was bitterly cold and my truck wouldn't start, after trying multiple things with air, spark, and fuel. I found that if I skirted around the truck and put a space heater underneath, the truck would start after the engine was warm ( a lot of work and a waste of electricity). After a few days I realized that I could go into the diagnosis box and jump the fuel pump to the battery (Fp to +B), it would inject fuel and I could start the truck (removing the jumper after the engine was warm). The problem was somewhere between the battery and the fuel pump. Once the weather warmed a little it would start without the jumper.
Now it is summer and my truck is stalling out on me. Again, troubleshooting air, spark, and fuel, nothing was working. It would start, sometimes for a while, and stall out. Finally, I tried jumping Fp to +B and it would prevent stalling. This morning it starts and runs with no interruption but I don't trust it ( especially with a camping trip coming up this weekend 24 kms up a logging road).
Any ideas?

Is there something that monitors engine temperature that would be interfering? It started and ran smoothly with no stalling this morning, yet this afternoon it started and stalled first try after sitting in the sun for a few hours. I tried again immediately after and it started without stalling (I only idled it for a minute or two).
Since I have already established I can jump the Fp to the +B, I was thinking of running a toggle to my dash and bypassing all the other crap. Any thoughts on that?
Help PLEASE, I need to make this camping trip!!

The Runner made the camping trip, no problem! With the toggle switch running from Fp to +B, It ran for months like that without a problem. I was driving to work one day, and it stalled out on me a couple blocks away from my house. I tried starting it several times for a couple minutes, between pushing it, until it started again. I got it about half a block, and it stalled out. Fortunately, it was no longer on a busy street, so I could let it cool down. It cooled down and I drove it home.....and it's been there ever since (almost a year now).... So now it stalls out on me when it's too hot, and it won't start without the jumper! I did a short circuit test and the dash flashes codes 12 and 14. Any ideas?
