gas mileage
Hey out there!
I bought a 2013 4Runner in February (my first!) and I am wondering if anybody can tell me why I am only getting 12 MPG city.
Basically all my driving is city (I haven't taken a road trip yet) and I know the 18City/24Highway rating is "just an estimate", but a consistent 12 MPG seems really low.
Do I need to get out on the highway and open her up some; need more breaking-in time?
Or, is the factory rating just way too high?
If anybody knows, I'd be forever grateful.
Thanks.

If you are not getting better mileage in the city so it is not a problem because manufacture companies giving the values of gas milage on the long road at constant speed. When you drive inside the city so you will change the gear again and again and it will consume the gas more so I think no need to worry about it.
