fuel preasure or map censor problem?

Default fuel preasure or map censor problem?

hey everyone I got my 92 4 runner all back together even the vacum lines but it wouldnt run.I took it to a mechanic friend of mine and he got it to start but it runs crappie.he thinks I have a fuel preasure problem or map censor going bad.but since he is a gm mech.he doesnt know where the fuel test port is or the map censor if it has one.my manual doesnt show this stuff either.any suggestions for a brand of manual.or has anyone had this experience.please help as my other car is heading to the bone yard soon.thanks DUCK

trying going to a toyota dealership or buying the manual from them, if it is the fuel sensor or map sensor try buying one at a local autozone store and replace it if it keeps doing that then just take back that part, but make sure that they will do that first before you buy too many extra parts.

Make sure your air cleaner is hooked up to the intakef mainfold. I was shocked when the '95 would not run (start & die) with the air intake plenum off when I was giving it a tune up (ego killer for someone that has wrenched for 30 years). Thought I had broke something by accident. Hooked up the plenum and it ran normal. The V6 uses the intake sensors at the air cleaner to help run the engine. Make sure the engine vapor lines that connect to the plenum are correct also. HTH T
