I have a 1990 SR5 3.0 auto and I have located a 1995 3.0 auto on the net for a real good price, but has a knock in the engine from being run low on oil. My question is, would it be a waste of time to swap engines and are they basically the same vehicles? I know the body style is the same. Mine has 185K, but the body is rusted and the paint is gone. Thanks!!
