Default Engine lifter? Timing Belt?

A couple questions about my 1994 4runner. First my engine has a ticking, but no loss of power so i was told by 2 different people that it was a lifter. If it is are they mechanical, therefore being adjustable? My next question is the timing belt needs replaced and I was wondering the easiest way to do so? Any help is appreciated thank you.

Ticking, welcome to toyota.

Lifters hummm dont listen to those 2 people ever again haha

Timing belt, seriously no offensive but if you have to ask take it to a good shop and also change the water pump.

Yeah pretty comon on toyota especially the 3.0. A little tick is fine, under load usually. Now if you hear this all the time and its pretty loud, you might want to get it checked out.

Also toyota doesnt use lifters, hints why I told him dont listen to those mechs again.
