Default Eclipse navigation for 07

Hi Forum,

After I purchased a 05 4Runner without a nav I decided to do a trade-in and upgrade to nav and bluetooth rather than go through the bother of aftermarket. I have been told Eclipse was a decent system. The car I chose at the dealer needed to install the Eclipse in the new 07 Sport.
When I got home I realized the Eclipse AVN5500 was not equiped for bluetooth and after some research I found out the model was outdated.
Learning that the Eclipse AVN5510BT replaced the 5500 and was refined also equipped w/ bluetooth. I contacted the dealer and complained that they put an outdated system.
The dealer suggest that they would add a seperate bluetooth and it would be better than if the eclipse was equipped w/ bluetooth.
I feel I should demand the newer version and have the bluetooth readout on the screen.
Any suggestions before I respond back to the dealer?

Thanks,
Joe

Contact Toyota Customer Care Line--The number is in your owners manual or online--I think its 1-800 331-4331 or something close to that..Tell them your situation. They will contact the dealer and put a little pressure on them to remedy the situation the right way..Or you could go to the dealer and rant and rave in the general managers office..
I was in the dealers for 20 years..Seen it all......It's pathetic...Lots of lying and deception..Thats why I am self employed now..
