adding day time running lights

RE: adding day time running lights
I don't know about kits, but you can get a shop to wire your lights accordingly.
On my 87, I got some bright amber LED strips andmounted them on the front valence to act as DRLs. There is a switch to turn the lights on/off, but whenever the key is switched off the DRL circuit is de-energized as well. That way I don't have to worry about running the battery down.
I did the mounting of the lights myself. but wiring is PFM for me so I took it to a shop to have the wiring/switch system installed. Well worth the bucks to get it done professionally.
