I have a 99 4runner and just installed a new clutch kit. It now makes a whinig noise like a bearing is bad, but when you push in the clutch it goes away? Not sure if it's the release bearing or pilot bearing? Any leads?
Also the clutch pedal doesn't return fully up. I replaced the clutch spring under the dash and it seemed to work for a few days and now it doesn't come back up again. I bled the system twice and it didn't help any. Is the slave cylinder crappin out ot maybe the master cylinder? Any leads? Many thanks guys, keep on 4wheeling!
