the only way i could think to fix this issue without knowing where the switch goes, would be to run wires and install a new remote switch.

When i first got my 95 the back window would not work by the switch, but the key inserted in the back door would make it work. The problem was the switch on the console. It appeared to me that someone had spilled a sfot drink on it at some time or other and the switch would not make contact. I took the switch apart and clean it, reinstalled and it works fine now. Hope this helps.

my 88 rw wont work w key or by switch. I bought a used switch same problem. If you pull switch out and get generic light/meter tester it will work. place alligator clip to ground and rod to center of solder onback. press down w ignition on. walla it worked. its a pain in the neck but the window works. its paid for so dont laugh.
