my wife owns a 95 runner,v6 at &amp; i have a 88 runner,22re,5spd..well her back window stopped working worked fine day before from grocerey store! toyota place<IMG src=smileys/smiley7.gif border="0">want 700 bucks said track and every thing was bad,i guess thats what i get for laughing at her because my 88 has had no problem/if i do need new back door where good sight to find used one or is that resonable?what years will be compatible?</P>

many of the SUVs, not only toyota, have a window regulator that is built as a complete unit with the window track, which could very well be why it is so much. i would check around and see if you cant find one at a salvage yard.

i own a 95 4runner and fixed my rear window for around $200. i found a motor on ebay for $89 and bought the regulator from a dealer for $120. it is not too difficult to fix, so i can be done by yourself.
