I have a '99 4Runner. 4 cyl. automatic, 2wd.

My truck won't start after it's been running for a short time. I have to wait up to 1 hour and many repeated trys to get it to start.

When the key is turned on, the buzzers work, the display items work, the air, radio and everything else works. The engine makes no clicking sound, in fact no sounds whatsoever other than the bell ringing.

I've replaced the battery and now replaced the starter... no change. Any ideas??

Having the same problem with my 92 4 runner. However, after I let it sit for 2-3 minutes it starts right up. Did you ever pinpoint it?
