So I was in the snow this weekend, assumingly all prepared for winter road conditions, when I come to the conclusion my 4wheel drive has ceased to work, is this a common occurrence with 3rd gen runners? and if so what could have broken, I heard no loud bangs and crashes on any of my previous adventures

indeed, it was a vacuum line leak, now it works

 

Pretty common, I had the same thing happen on my runner, granted it was after the motor was changed
