Where to mount bluetooth mic?
I ended up installing myself the Alpine CDE-103BT CD receiver w/ built in Bluetooth. It comes with a microphone for my iphone. Any writes ups on where to mouth and hide the wire for the mic?
I came across this -

Looks like he has it mounted in the control switch insert on the dash... can you buy a dash insert for this?

most mics installed in newer vehicles has the mic mounted above your head somewhere near the visor. this seems to be the go to place to install the mic in almost all vehicles ive come across. maybe you could run it up some trim and have it poking out somewhere discreet above your head?

I ran mine up thru the A pillar, then I stuffed the wire up under the roof liner where it meets the windshield and adhered it to windshield above mirror with double sided tape b/c it has a flat bottom. Still there after a year. Keeps it in the middle of vehicle away from an open window. I've seen others that were installed on steering wheel column here: http://www.tacomaworld.com/gallery/s...120656/cat/500. or like this on A pillar: http://muisejt.com/pics/mic.jpg
