Default Advice Needed:Suspension/Tires

Looking to invest in a decent 3-4" suspension lift on my stock 2007 4Runner. Also need a good set of tires for add'l clearance on mostly rock/mtn trails in Colorado. What's the max size I can go with w/o having to do any trim work on the wheel wells?

Thanks in advance for the feedback-

Wow, on an 07. Only thing I know about for that year is body lift and leveling kit. Granted you can get probably 5 right there MAX. The body style is about the same so 33's should fit under 4 inches of lift. Best is get your lift as high as you can and then take it to Discount tires (for example) and let them do the trial and error fitments, that way your not on the loosing end if its not a 100% good fit.

Thanks for the feedback...Yeah, currently looking at adding the 4th Gen 4Runner 3" Suspension Kit. The off-road shop that will do the install said the best I can do for tires after this mod will be 285s, which still may require some minor trimming on the inside tire well moldings. So you're recommending at least a 4" to support the 33" tires, right? I can ask them about that as well.

Also looking at adding an ARB winch bumper along w/ Warn winch & fog lights. Will see how the budget holds out though...probably will add in phases.

Yeah you will need 4in total for 33s. I dont see any problem with it.

As for kits, which one you looking at?

Dont trim unless you need to IMHO
