I have a 98 sr5 and was wondering if the 99-02 hood with scoop will fit it

I would have to say it would. They classify the 1999-2002 hood because it does have the scoop, but I don't see why it wouldn't bolt right up. They specify the hood without the scoop as the 1996-2002 replacement.Seelink below:
